Okay. So  I bought new parts for a PC. I built it, everything looked fine. Plugged it in, motherboard lights turned on, everything looked fine, but then when I pressed the power button, nothing happened. I tried taking the motherboard out of the case and attempted to power it on using a paper clip - but still, nothing. Its not the power supply because some lights on the motherboard and graphics card are on. Its probably not the standoffs either as I tried it outside of the case already. I don't know what to do.

These are my exact specs:

Motherboard: ROG Z390H

CPU: i9 9900k

GPU: ROG RTX 2070

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB Nvme

Cooling: Cooler Master ML240L

Can you take a photo of how everything is installed?

Do you have the case power switch hooked up to the motherboard? Should be some cables from the front of the case that plug in to your motherboard for the power switch, power led, rest switch, and HDD activity led.

If it's the 9900k and not the 9900kf you can try using integrated graphics and plugging the display in to the motherboard. Removes graphics card as a variable.

On the right side of the motherboard just above the 24pin there should be 4 LEDs labelled boot, VGA, dram, and CPU. Any of those light up?

Double checked if all the small single pin connectors from the case are connected correctly on the right pin on the motherboard? Could be that they are wrong and no ‘power on’ signal is being given
