Windows Flicker

PC Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6300

RAM: Corsair (forget the model exactly) DDR3 

MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Rev. 2

GPU: Palit GTX 750ti 

PSU: Corsiar 550W 

 

Recently I started to notice that the Spotify app on my PC would randomly flash black then come back or disappear for a sec then reappear. I had put this down to some issue with Spotify itself and moved on but just now I noticed that the top ribbon in Word was now also flickering and in fact my entire second display now is occasionally flickering off and back on again. I have already tried disabling hardware acceleration like people have suggested online but it doesnt appear to be solving this issue. I'm gonna assume that this is a GPU issue as I havent changed/updated any software (other than the occasional security update for windows which windows does automatically). Any help is much appreciated

How old is your monitor? It could be because of that.
