I bought this laptop really cheap (20$) .It's a samsung np350v5c with i7 3630qm.When it's booted in windows, everything is fine, and it works as It should. It's problem is starting. If I press the power button, fans start(sometimes they go to max rpm) ,all the leds work, but the screen is black.I have to wait for 30 to 40 minutes for it to display the "samsung" watermark (I think that's how it's called, basically the screen where you can go in the bios, change boot order, all that stuff. )From this point,it works ok,windows boots and I can start using it.If I restart the laptop it goes straight to that watermark,so I only have to wait on startup, not also on restart.

*I think the bios is the problem,I wanted to get the bios battery out to make it go to the default bios, but it's soldered, and from past experiece I know my soldering iron won't be able to solder that back on,because the pad is copper and the leg of the battery is aluminium or something

I don't think so.Ambient here is 25-30 degrees C.And I can't feel any heat coming from the fans.

It's not like that. Capacitors or something else may be broken and need time to "ignite" (so if your computer is cold just after you press power, it doesn't start). It's like heating up gpu in oven. I'm just guessing though, so if you think it's something else - your guess may be the same good as mine.

I know the oven method, if anything else doesnt work,I might try it.I thought it could be the bios because I saw a lot of bios problems by just googleing this laptop. I might try to flash a bios on,but first I'll get that battery replaced (Voltage was also low on that battery, something like 1.5-2v ,and I think it has to be closer to 3v)
