Morning, I'm from the UK and I am looking to build a rig for university - I used to game a lot, took a few years out and would like to jump straight back into it. I am looking for 1440p graphics capabilities for games like PUBG but I will mostly play CSGO so it's not that important.

Here's the twist. I use Logic and Pro tools a lot on my Mac book (late 2013 slowly dying) so I would like to run hackintosh on this new rig that would also support use of such programmes when using OSX.

I've set up windows on my mac and used to run mac on my old PC so I have a fairly clear idea how to do it when it comes to the installation side, I am posting this to try and understand what hardware would be suitable and compatible with my needs.

I am also happy to pay a company to build such a PC, as it would be preferable to use a finance option hence asking for suggested specs to try and find a deal online.

Many thanks yall x

There's a handful of people here who are experienced with hackintosh type systems, but I'm going to direct you to two places where you'll get much more prompt and resourceful assistance (Not that the people here can't)

When it comes to Hackintoshing, desktops are usually pretty easy, especially when going with an Intel CPU, Gigabyte motherboard and AMD graphics (or Intel IGP). The most complicated part is usually Wi-Fi, although I'd say a desktop deserves ethernet.
