Ok, now before you get mad I bought these from a guy who got scammed and didn't want them. I thought they'd be a fun project to see if I could reflash them or hang them up if not. I've taken off the heat sinks and tried to identify them via the engravings on the GPU die itself but haven't been able to find anything that matches.

I've attached pictures of the die and card below, so if anyone could help identify these that'd be super cool.

The die reads: 12BCB231 1150A1 S TAIWAN PFA248.M00

Board design reminds me highly of a 550/550Ti so I'm willing to bet it's one of those.

I've looked up the 550Ti on techpowerup and the GPU die doesn't match, but its super close so I'm gonna try looking around that line for it

Especially with the 6 pin connector facing towards the back of the card, I don't think anything post-Fermi featured that.

I/O lines up with that era as well; HDMI, VGA, DVI.

As far as I'm aware the only other card to use that PCB layout was the GTS 450 so there really isn't a hell of a lot that it could be.

Yeah, none of the GPUs seem to have a matching die except the GTX 550Ti with 1149A1. Its not exact but do you think its worth flashing?

Might as well. Worst case scenario is you're out a card which is pretty useless at this point.

Ok sweet let me see what i can dig up.  Any chance you could mesure the die? and clean that sticker off under the die? I got an engineer at work who's chineese and i'll ask him what it says.

Sorry for the delay, the die measures ~1.43 cm on the sides and 2.00 cm2. I tried cleaning it a bit more and peeling that sticker off, but it doesn't seem like I can get it off without damaging the PCB underneath it since its on there pretty well.

can't speak to the GPU, but I recognize those counter tops, I have the exact same ones (for now)

Close but not quite haha, the stonetop is spot on but the drawers underneath are completely different. Nice GPUs you got there though!

Update:

So I tore off the heat sink of another GPU I had (I have 3 of these) and the PCB is exactly the same but the serial on the die is different (I presume it doesn't matter outside of the die SKU which neither of these seem to have).

I saw that this link has a GPU with the exact same layout that was a flashed GTS 450. I'll try that whenever I have time, but it seems like mystery solved?
