Budget computer thoughts. New Question....

Im debating going cheap for a while until Im ready in a year to go big.

My current setup is a surface pro 4 i5-6300U cpu with 4g ram

Would it be worth selling it and getting:

Keep in mind, I wont have my surface pro any more so it needs to be better than what I had.

I need to run a 4k display comfortably.

Highest end game I play is rocket league and fine playing it at 720p medium settings already on my surface pro.

(Currently my laptop doesnt run 4k comfortably)

 

Any thoughts?
