Planning for a new Rig

Hi .. 

 

I need to build a new rig .. It'll be secondary mainly used for VR

 

Plan is : 

Replace Graphics in existing Rig with 2060 Super or 5700 .. 

Build a new Rig and use the 2080 Ti in it .. 

 

Question is : Should I build the rig with Ryzen 3900x or wait for 3950x / new Threadripper ??

Rig2: TT Tower 200 | Asus X670e-i | Ryzen 9 7950X3D | 2TB Gen 5 | 64 GB |  RTX 4090 | Samsung 57" 7680x2160  | Oculus Quest Pro
