Fingerprint Reader

Harry123

Yeah, agree with Jrdi. Most likely could only connect this to the same laptop. Chip location would vary depending on where the power button, or location of the reader is. I usually see them on the left back corner of laptop's touchpads. (Dell Latitudes) . If you have any luck, let us know!

If you want a fingerprint reader for your computer, just get one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Benss-Fingerprint-Analyzer-Biometrics-Certification/dp/B073Z7FGKV/

As for the one you have, its probably worthless and should just be thrown. You can get it from eBay for $12 shipped, factor in the cost to ship, eBay fees, and time taken to list it and drop it off at the post office you might make a few dollars... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fingerprint-reader-for-Lenovo-ThinkPad-FRU-48-4QE17-011-Used-In-good-condition/123786769749?hash=item1cd2443555:g:eCMAAOSw3dZc8AGJ
