Considering you want to use an APU, the best motherboard is one that simply works. Basically, anything will do.

You can even use an older board, but you'll need to update the BIOS. Just make sure it has all the features you want it to have.

 

Maybe consider buying something a little more expensive if you plan on upgrading the CPU later on.

Shouldn't most boards work? Looking for a little more specific recommendation. Would you buy an X350 or 370 board for around $100, an x450 for around $150, or are there any interesting X570 boards to justify the price jump? Do any boards have less noise or superior audio features than the others?

To be honest you would be better off with a cheaper and actually get a decent sound card.
