Ryzen 3rd gen

hi All, I'm in the market for a new laptop and would like to buy a 3rd gen Ryzen one, i need one with 2 NVME slots and at least 1 2.5" drive slot, 2 if possible, i know this is a weird request but i do need it and would hate to let go of my 2.5" drive, is there a laptop that satisfies all there criteria?

No. Such a machine, be it Ryzen or Intel, doesn't exist.

it actually exists in intel, the zbook 15 or 17, G4 till G6, it has at least 2 NVME slots and 2 2.5" drives, 3 NVME for the G6

 

i'm just asking if it does exist for AMD Ryzen

nah, i just prefer AMD to intel due to all the spectre like issues with intel and the fact that they r still on 14 nm, so more power consumption, i know that intel has the advantage of thunderbolt so an external GPU down the line is a possibility unlike AMD, but i still would like to know if there is any AMD laptop that have that configuration.

Actually the power draw is just slightly better in AMD Ryzen mobile. Also there isn't a high end Ryzen mobile chip yet (3550h/3750h is based on 3500u/3700u)

I am aware of that issue

But there might be a laptop already released or teased with a desktop processor like the ROG 1st gen ryzen one, sry can't remember the model

Well that is desktop CPU, I'm talking about laptop CPU

There's one I think - the new Nitro 5 with 3550H/3750H (AN515-43)

this does seem to be the only laptop to satisfy my current needs, thx so much, i will be keeping an eye out for any laptops released in the near future for any one with a desktop ryzen 3rd gen, but for now that will suffice.

I can't confirm whether it has x2 M.2 slots like the Intel model or not, but it's using the same chassis as the Intel one (2019 version)

i did check with their chat support and they seem to be using the same chassis and motherboard layout and he did confirm that it does have 2 M.2 slots capable of NVME speeds.
