Hi all,  i have been thinking about overclocking my  i5-4670K to get the most out of it. there are soooo many videos online about this, i just wanted to check here with you guys ( imop the most experienced ppl 2 ask ) of the best way and how to do it safely.

If any 1 here has overclocked their  i5-4670K could you please share with me the processes you used and the results you have gotten. or even a good video link you would recommend.

thank you in advance for any help or info you can provide

I recommend to overclock through the BIOS and not through software, and remember voltage kills CPUs so raise it a tiny bit if the overclock is unstable,

The max safe voltage for your processor is 1.3v.

If you are not sure about something please ask ;)

Ah simple that is Haswell and its before the devils cannon refresh so its using crappy paste.

That said it all depends on your cooler. A 212+ should get you 4.2-4.4 using 1.2V or so. I had a golden 4790K i could get it to 4.8Ghz at just 1.225V. I wouldn't recommend going above 1.3V even on a 360 rad.

Extremely simple way to start is 1.2V at 4Ghz and continue to raise the frequency until it crashes and then up the voltage a little.
