I'm asking if anyone has good recommendations for regular keyboards, I currently have the K70 and love it. I'm a big fan of clicky for typing, however, I usually game and want to keep it as quiet as possible, I'm currently using o-rings on my red switches to make them quieter. So, that would lead me to say blue switches are more or less out the window :P

I've already taken a look into the G915 - but that price point is just a little too high for me. I'd appreciate something a little more low-profile than the K70, it's been a wonderful keyboard for me, but I think that I might be able to achieve faster typing speeds with keyboard that has a less travel time for key presses :)

These are purely recommendations right now, I'm not 100% going to get a new keyboard, just looking at some potential candidates.

Thank you for reading,
vK

Not wireless and basically the same keyboard as OP already has.

OP, I'd look into something from a smaller brand, maybe Drevo or something.

<£200 I'd say, full size is preferable, portability isn't a concern for me. I've got a wireless mouse currently and was interesting in seeing what the wireless keyboards had to offer. Purely because of how thicc the cable for my current keyboard is.

MX Speeds are basically MX reds, and the keyboard itself is very similar. It's more of a sidegrade than an upgrade.

What mechanical varient you want ?  Clicky type writer feel or tactile which is about the same feel  or more Linear feel ?

I'm not well-versed in mechanical types, I'd like to keep it as quiet as possible, clicky usually isn't that from experience and tactile (whilst feeling good) also has a bit of noise to it, so I suppose that leaves Linear.

I don't like tactile or clicky myself..... So ya Linear you will be more at home.  Also full sized with a wrist surface ? and Finally your budget if you can bend 15 bucks or so that wont be a bad thing.

Wrist surface helps, my current one has one and it's actually pretty nice to have - something I never really thought about before. $15 shouldn't be too much of a bend. Again, I live in the UK so it'd be £10~ unless you meant £15 :P

Would you consider a 60% board? If so, the Anne 2 Pro is a good one, and wireless. I’ve been typing and playing on both my blue and brown switch keyboards like mad this past 4 or 5 days to decide what switch to get for a Ducky Year of the Pig Special Edition, since it is freaking expensive and I didn’t want to go wrong with the switches because of the limited unities. To me, on Browns I felt like I needed much less strength to have a key registered, and therefore mistyping less; there was less strain to the top of my hand (I’m aware of how weird it sounds, but again, I was mad); and I didn’t wake up half of the neighbourhood from the next city. From Blues, I really like the clickyness, and although the feedback is stronger, I did feel like the keys were taller (maybe another non-sense stuff again). In the end I felt like the Browns would be the better buy counting the pros and cons from both. I don’t like linear switches, so I simply scratch all the rest. I tried at Canada Computers today a K70 with Mx Silver switches, and it is really not for me IF I AM TO TYPE STUFF. It didn’t feel bad for gaming though. I simulated all the gaming in my head...

These are Cherry's new MX Speed switches that are designed to let you click and clack even faster than ever before. Simply, it appears that the actuation point on these linear switches is shorter than on Cherry MX Reds--1.2mm compared to 2mm, respectively.

https://www.tomshardware.com/news/cherry-mx-speed-switches-corsair,31648.html

MX Speed is just MX Red but with a slightly higher actuation point. That's it.

I took a quick look into the board, however, I'm afraid a numpad is a rather necessity for me, it looks like a fantastic keyboard though.

Is it possible for you to go into a store and try different keyboards? If so, take a look at low profile key cap models. It might be worth digging into it.
