How to Eject External HDD?

Hi,

 

How can I eject my external HDD from my Windows 8.1 operated laptop? I looked to My Computer for ejecting it but there is no "Eject" option when right-clicked, and the "Eject" button on the upper "Drive Tools" hand is not enabled. I tried to eject it from the taskbar (Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media) but there also no "Eject" option for it. I'm thinking the laptop is assuming my external HDD is the internal HDD of the laptop.

 

Any suggestions?
