Lil question about fans

Go to solution Solved by Energycore,

This is a matter of taste, but I think NF-A14s look way nicer than NF-F12s

As far as airflow goes, I think LTT made a test some years ago and the difference in temperature quickly drops to 0 past the first case fan. It's almost for sure that you'll get the same temps on both setups.

So opinion, I have an h700i and two Noctua industrial 140mm fans currently and I am going to buy some more.

My case can take 2x 140 or 3 x 120 in the top and front

What fan setup would you go with?

(Noctua D15 cooling a 3700x and a 1080ti so air pls)

My case (Corsair 780T) says it takes 3x 120mm in the front, and on top, but it doesn't! How do you know it takes 3x 120mm?

Looked at the mounting brackets and roughly fitted the one cheap 120mm i have. Does fit 3x120

That's my question? Does it? I thought mine did, and it says so in the specs, but it doesn't! Try to get access to the case before you buy. or buy it from a seller that will accept returns so you can test and reject of not okay...

I checked the photos too, then I got the case... Still, you live and learn (or you don't)!

Turns out it can actually fit a 140 in the back and so image.png.1cbc76366e14593249fe12d9bb91977a.png
