So the deal is, whenever i power on my PC it will start all fans light all LED's and start the HDD, but after 1-2 seconds it powers all off again for some 4-5 seconds before it starts up again and finishes the boot. I really dont know what the porblem is as i have a 850w gold PSU and my i7-4770k is stable at 4.5 GHz at a 24 hour stresstest.
Relevant specs:
I7-4770k@4.5GHz
Asus maximus VI hero
Corsair RM850w 80 gold +
2x8Gb 2400MHz Corsair vengance pro ram

hope some of you guys know what's going on, because i've never heard of it before  :)

Hmmm... No idea why this is happening..

Maybe you did something in the BIOS lately ? Or just just search in the BIOS for a option that may causing it..

I have never heard something similar so I don't know what else you could try.

I'd say its normal boot-up testing that PSU and mobo use to see if OC is working. I read lots of these problems coming with Corsairs PSUs so it might be their safety feature. For me it does such only after crashing whole PC and after cold boots.

Yeah forgift to mention it only does so when the power has been Cut, not when it just Got turned off

Then its definetly just PSU selftesting.

As already stated Corsair psu tend to due a self test if the cpu is pulling more power than the stock voltage. Mine does the same thing since i have mine overclocked as well. So far there has been no damage when it runs the self test.
