Why would you use both graphics cards? Sell the 1050 ti and use the money for an RTX 2060 or something.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Are you thinking of putting both in your machine and using one and then the other to compare?

Or using them together?

Cuz neither scenario works.

There won't be a problem using two different graphics cards in the same machine. Hell you could mix AMD and NVIDIA cards together if you wanted.

Eeeerm, he can't mix vendors - NVidia drivers auto-crap themselves when they detect AMD drivers present. Bad idea imo.

So i have a pc with a gtx 1050Ti but i want to try RTX so i want to buy another graphics card.My question is, will it work? Will there be any problems with having two different graphics cards?

There is literally no benefit in having two cards at the same time without SLI - sell the 1050 Ti and buy an RTX 2060 Super

Maybe if you rely on things like GFE. Which I don't use.

Even if you don't - that's why DDU is always highly recommended - any leftovers from other drivers cause conflicts and if you try to install both Radeon and GeForce drivers at the same time, you're in BSOD city.

I'm tempted to grab the cheapest AMD card and toy with this, because Intel iGPUs can be ran at the same time without a problem.

ingel iGPU =/= Nvidia GPU - the issue is specifically when Nvidia drivers detect AMD ones. Intel drivers are not part of the issue

Do you have any sources from AMD's devs?

Just googling it reveals massive amounts of results and forum posts.

So if I do this experiment and I don't get any issues, then what?
