Internet problem....

So my computer is eating up all my bandwidth taking 80 mbs down but only showing me that i am actually downloading at under 1 mbs    ... i should have atleast 5-7 mbs down if my router is sending 80mbs to my computer ... i am just confused on how this happened and how to fix ?? any pointers?

I'm sorry, but I don't really understand what you mean. You think your computer is "using" 80mbps of your internet connection?

Err no my isp is giving me 80 down and 30 up but my desktop computer is eating upp all the bandwidth .. and my asus router tells me that my desktop computer is atleast taking all the bandwidth but my desktop computer is only managing a speed of 200kbs :( it makes no sense and i have tried to reset the ethernet adapter and i have no downloads in da backround so i am just asking if you know anything about this problem or how to fix it or ?

What info is leading you to belive the pc is eating up all the bandwidth? Most consumer grade networking equipment doesn't tell you info about bandwidth usage.

i bought a new router from asus and in the ui it can show me that my desktop computer is eating upp all the bandwith when i download but still my desktop computer is only managing under 1mbs even though it is eating upp all the bandwidth

It was a bit better now but still i should be getting more considering the down bandwidth it is taking. Atleast 5 down or 7 not 2.5 and loading google is impossible
