FX-8320 Overclock settings

Go to solution Solved by Flyguygamer,

You have some room for a voltage bump. Just try for anywhere between 4 and 4.8 GHz and add voltage as needed. I would try for 4.5 Ghz at 1.35 volts and check your temps. Don't go over 65 degrees on prime95

I'm looking to overclock my 8320. I'm running a Gigabyte GA-990fx-UD3 mobo and a H100i cooler. Also running 2 Asus R9-270X in crossfire. but thats not important. Im just wondering what settings would be optimal without bumping the voltage to much since I only have a 650 watt psu. Thanks!

Start at 4 and work your way up. Default voltage for mine is 1.42 and I only added .025 to achieve a 4.3 clock. WATCH YOUR FRIGGIN TEMPS BOY!
