Hey @evilHamsterzZz

Something is taking up usage of the hard drive. In the Task manager for monitoring the HDD usage, is there a list of what applications are using the hard drive usage?

You might be able to find out what process is causing it

do you use steam? Usually updates from steam make your HDD go nuts for a little bit lol

I do use Steam, but it was already updated when my HDD was going nuts

huh, strange! that's usually when my hard drive goes nuts. If it happens again, keep a close eye and see what processes are running. I think a good approx way to determine what your hard drive is doing at 100% is what process is using a "unusual" amount of CPU usage in task manager.

It seems to be a bug with Windows 8. It might go away for a while, but it will come back. I was hoping 8.1 would fix this, but the update did nothing. Any attempt at fixing it has been futile and contacting competent Microsoft employees is impossible. Unless we make a massive deal out of it and pressure MS to actually look into this, it will probably stay like forever.

Sorry I just had to :D
