Setup advise

Hi fellas apologies for looking like a complete idiot. Just fully built my pc earlier on. Don't really know where to start in terms of setup. I understand I've got to install windows, but I also realise I've got to update BIOS and such?? Could somebody please give me some advise exactly what I should be doing first? Ram setting? Updating bios? Please enlighten me

Not to be rude, if you are after answers to your questions to really help, add your systems specs (CPU, Motherboard, GPU, RAM, etc.) to allow people to give more precise advice.

As Blai5e said, please include your system specs. For updating your BIOS, it's incredibly easy and your motherboard manufacturer should have a guide on how to do it for your specific system online somewhere. Try searching the name of your motherboard and "bios update" and there should be a link from the manufacturer.

 

Second, install NVIDIA GeForce Experience to auto-maintain the latest drivers or just go and get them manually from their site (assuming you have an NVIDIA GPU).

Forgive me. My system specs are as follows: Ryzen 3700x, x570 gigabyt aorus pro, 2080super and 16 GB ram.
