Starting with less space now and adding more is a good move, since it's super easy to toss a new hard drive in later.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Do you see anything else on this build I could improve / minimize for price?

Unless you really want fully modular, @hello_there_123 recommended a very solid unit. A used graphics card goes a long way too (I'll actually be selling a 580 8GB soon myself). Otherwise very solid choices

Thank you! Do you happen to know about the Ryzen 3000 BIOS update? I know the B405M gaming pro does have BIOs Flashback, however I have absolutely NO idea how to do the bios update. However, I know the Tomahawk comes with the 3000 update already on it, but it's also around $30 more expensive. I don't really see any other difference between the two motherboards, do you think it would be worth just getting rid of the hassle or is there really no hassle at all to upgrade?

You go to the webpage for the motherboard on msi's website, and then you download the BIOS file onto a USB stick, and then it should be as easy as putting the memory stick into the USB port that's labeled on the back and pressing the BIOS flash button. There are loads of helpful YouTube tutorials for this so feel free to peruse them.

you can cut off a few bucks by getting a B450M/AC, has wifi and doesn't require a BIOS update.
