Razer Blade Intel 8th gen vs. 9th gen

Hey all!

 

I'm planning to buy a blade to replace my old 2016 model, and I've decided on the 2070 Max-Q variant. There are 3 to choose, but only 2 come in white so I'm torn on what decision to make.

 

One is an 8th gen 1080 model with a 144hz screen, and the other (for $100 more) is a 9th gen model with a 240hz screen. 

 

Does the 9th gen really perform that much better? Is 240hz a noticeable bump over 144hz? I don't know if it's worth the extra $100.

depend, if you have sensitive eyes, its worth. not all people feel same about 60/75/120/165/144/240 hz

 

better train your eyes to see different about refresh rate before you decide it.
