Looking for TV

Foxymaniac

Hello, I'm helping the old ones at home looking for a new tv, but since I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to what to look for in a TV, I would love to hear some recommendations.

Budget is 4000dkk / 536.29€ / 595.47$

55inch

4k resolution

no brand loyalty so all goes, they generally use it as a monitor for their PC which they do everyday things, including watching movies, so nothing incredibly fancy required

Why don't you go to local Best Buys or Costco and look at each screen.  Samsung has QLED and LG has OLED and Sony and Panasonic use OLED panels as well.
