Hey, So I like to wipe my drives every now and then due to I get a build-up of games and programs I dont ever use. And I am starting the school year so I would like to wipe my desktop before that.

I DONT want to do the USB strat, due to it takes more time and is work, I am keeping the computer so I dont really mind if anything is left over.

But be being curious... Can I do the section option? "Remove Files and clean the drive"? Or is it going to remove my windows key? I normally just do the first option., Also How long does it take? Says a couple of hours?

Spoiler

The Windows key is bound to your motherboard. Removing all files and cleaning the drive in W10 is a very safe way of wiping all the things.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
