Asus Zephyrus M GM501 to External G-sync Monitor

Hello,

I own a Zephyrus M GM501 model and i wanted to post my findings as i had a bit of trouble finding a straight answer to the question "Can i hook up an external g-sync monitor 144hz to this laptop" and the answer is YES. To any other looking to satisfy this answer i hope they see this post.

To be more specific i have used the thunderbolt 3 port with a usb type-c to display port cable to connect the Dell S2419HGF 24" (Freesync 144hz 1080p) to Nvidia Gtx 1060 and it works, tb3 is cabable of 144hz at 1080p and g-sync works with freesync on this panel, some tweaking with colors and we are good to go.

Hope this helps someone
