To much RAM usage?

Using the Corsair Vengeance RGB pro ram for about 2 months I am more than happy! However because where i live it is really hot I started monitoring my CPU's temps and by doing that I started noticing that while watching videos the RAM usage is at about 25% usage the system is doing 169 processes , 1973 threads and 69500 handles and for some reason it says that the systam is up for almost 2 days even though I have closed i.....t are these numbers ok? Should I be worried? If anybody knows I would appreciate it if you could help me!!!!! Thanks in advance!!

Have you shut down the system entirely within the last two days? It's still counting "on time" while sleeping or when in hibernation

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Stop being so specific!  We all know 25% is a lot, no matter what!!!! Percentages do not lie!  :)

 

Are we talking Youtube videos?  How many tabs open?  Chrome?

 

You also realize that RAM is used for various other tasks than watching videos... like keeping Windows running, whatever background tasks you have loaded, controlling the RGB on the RAM itself, etc.

I have close the system 3 times within the last 2 days and when I say closed the system I mean Shut down and also close it behind the psu

When writing I had a video playing in the background however I also have Icue open rgb fusion origin steam nvidia drivers like the basic things somebody who plays games has

You're fine. I have 63% of 16GB used right now on my work machine with Outlook, Chrome, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.  

 

25% of 16GB isn't a lot.

Mine idles around 5gb after a fresh boot. You have nothing to worry about.

Sounds like windows being windows. My work laptop, desktop, and personal laptop never show the correct uptime. My work laptop was shut down all weekend and currently task manager says it has been up for 24 days.

 

It's just a counter and has zero effect on system performance

Is it saying it's been 2 days since you shutdown, or you've been up for 2 days (48 hours) in total during the past 2 months?  Similar how a game will say "days played"?
