Realtek Audio Console Jack Detection Issue

Hi,

I have a problem where, about 80 percent of the time, my laptop won't detect my headphones whenever I take them out unless I go to the Realtek Audio Console and switch "Enable Jack Detection when device is plugged in" from off to on, and back off again.

It doesn't detect my headphones when it is on, and it is extremely annoying to constantly have to got to the audio setting just to use headphones.

 

I checked, and I have the latest drivers from Realtek. 

 

How do I get rid of this issue?
