So my pc was restarting under load .

I changed literally everything (Mobo , PSU , Ram) except gpu.

Can gpu be the culprit ?

Also It is rebooting like someone plugged it out from outlet and then instanly plugged it in/

Another detail :

PC was running fine until i messed something up. I changed the gpu thermal paste and the paste got stuck on the pcb of gpu (Small type of thing).

Can this be the reason?

(Sorry For Bad English)

Not an expert but you might want to take it apart again make sure the paste isnt on the circuit board or basically where it shouldnt be.

Thanks

Just a quick question

Do you think this might be causing problems?

And can you give me any tip of removing paste from circuit board?

From what you have told me the paste might be directly on some circuit therefor interrupting it, as i said im not an expert in these but i heard problems like these before, that is what i would try.

I just changed my motherboard and had to move my CPU and clean the older paste and i used rubbing alcohol that has 70% alcohol and it did the trick. If you want to clean more sensitive parts of the GPU like the board try using cotton swabs for that and be gentle. Good luck!

It might take a while for the rubbing alcohol to actually get into the paste. It depends how old it is and if it had time to dry out.

And what is your power need?

CPU?
GPU?

How old is that PSU? They degrade over time!

Your might need more power!

I just replaced this with Cooler master Elite Power 400w

and my cpu is very very old it is Core 2 quad Q9650

and gpu is Sapphire RX560 4gb
