extremely low framerate

i have just finished building my pc with a ryzen 2200g.

when I try running borderlands 2 the frame rate is under 10fps

does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

What settings are you running the game at? Include resolution and quality preset if chosen.

 

Are other games having this issue?

i am running the game 1080p low no other games are having issues but the game is slow in the loading screen as well

I'm not sure if this is the root cause, but AMD suggests using at least DDR4-2993 or better memory with the Ryzen 3 2200G. If you're using something slower, then it's expected GPU performance will suffer.

 

Though I don't know why Borderlands 2 would be affected that badly if this is really a problem.

i am using ram at 2400 but any other game isn't being affected should i overclock my ram then?
