Hello there! My name is Vydohr and I am pretty new to this forum but not the realm of Linus, his videos and his company. I have been planning on building myself a PC but a major problem I face is not knowing what exactly to get for what I want to do. I want to be able to run R6 Siege at atleast 60fps (This is my benchmark game as I play this the most) and I want to be able to build a computer to do so without breaking the bank. My budget is around $1000 USD, It would be greatly appreciated if I could receive tips on how to go about this.

I currently run a Lenovo Ideapad with an Intel Core i3 and 520 Integrated graphics, 6gb DDR3 ram.

Again thank you for the help.

-Your friendly Marine

Monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones, etc

Do you need those?

I do not need any of those as I already have them.

To elaborate, Im not worried about how big the build is as I have ample amount of room for everything, I also am not to worried about going over 1k as my realistic budget is around my entire pension of 5000.

Wait, are you going to be running it at a full 4K?

Not all the time. Probably only doing so with Netflix and maybe Siege honestly not sure

I mostly play console with my Xbox One X which I still call Scorpio. And that I always run full 4k but I run into overheating. So like I said, I do not think ill be running full 4k 24/7

Okay just wanted to make sure. I think the 5700 might be chugging at 4K. 1080 will get you letterboxing, but will run waaaaaay better.

I might upgrade it at a later point but aslong as I can run Siege at above 60fps instead of using my laptop on the lowest settings and barely getting 15fps, I think it will do

There is Geil 2x8 3000mhz memory for $64 so why would you get this ??

And the lower CL latency will do absolutely nothing , for gaming or for most workstation application really. (check techpowerup zen 2 scaling)

There,s sabrent rocket 500gb for $60 or tcsunbow X3 for $49. No idea why you chose that

Bitfenix formula gold 550 , is $70 on newegg. And before you saw anything about the non modular , i,ll just say that the meshify C , having good cable management and a PSU shroud , will make modularity useless unless 1. the PSU is above 550W or 2. OP is doing cablemod , which he/she has not said so.

I do alot of cable management due to major OCD, Its a reason why I think I was chosen to be a Sniper in the Marines. Depending on what you mean by Cablemod I may be doing such, On most of my devices that involve cable work and management I get longer than needed ones to be able to say "Okay this works and I have room to spare" ect ect

this cablemod.

https://cablemod.com/

separately buying cables to fit a color scheme , you need full mod to do that.
