After installing an extra HDD, a WD blue (WD40EZRZ), it doesnt show up in the disk managment.

my mobo (Gigabyte Aorus GA-Z270X-Gaming 7) also gives 1 long and a short beep when launching.

i've reseeded both sata and power cables, checked if the disks are spinning and looked in the bios.

it seems like the drive is not supported?

anyone knows how i can fix this?

(sorry for shitty quality picture)

Do you have an M.2 - drive?

no, i have an 500GB ssd and 4TB hdd, both connected with sata.

Did you try the drive in some other slot?

It seems to detect the drive, but not the size.  I'd guess the drive was DOA, can you try it in another system?  Otherwise, time to RMA it.
