Alright so... I've got a Rocksmith Real Tone cable here that is supposed to be a direct audio device like a microphone except on my windows 10 computer mysteriously out of nowhere it stopped working and started giving me "Device Descriptor Error

(Error Code 43)"

Now I've contacted them and I even purchased a new cable that had the exact same issue. I've reset my windows install and still nothing works. I've followed through with their shitty suggestions of which I've heard several times on other help posts and I've uninstalled the driver in Device Manager. Nothing works. Any help would be great. I would like to get something out of this, maybe even something to point me in the right direction of manually installing the driver or debugging the damn thing. By the way the "Real Tone Cable" is a USB to 3.5mm jack for guitar and bass input. Ubisoft is responsible for the development of this cable but the game plays no vital role in getting the cable to work.

Have you tested the cable on another system or on a console? That will rule out the cable being the problem.
