Hello, I'm seeking for quietness. I built a quiet PC with a lubed mx silent keyboard. And my old Razer Naga mouse is starting to fail (when scrolling up the screen goes up and down, the wheel press button doesn't work, etc).

So I decided to go for a quiet mouse this time. My mouse's wheel has an extra effect when you press either side (I don't know if this is commonplace amount mice or it's exceptional) that I use to regulate pc volume. I don't know if this feature helped mess up my current mouse wheel or if Razer mice (as I read) tend to malfunction in that area (might be dirt or whatever but I don't know how to disarm it).

So to the point, what should it have:

  • Quiet.

  • With a wire.

  • A way to change volume.

  • That isn't so small that requires a claw-hand.

  • Maybe other buttons for hotkeys and stuff.

  • (and that annoying thing that we can't miss) that isn't extremely expensive for no reason.

Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Pardon my ignorance, but does it justify the 100$ price? is it better than similar but cheaper mice?

You asked for silent, it's more silent than others, I would not buy it, but it has nice features, and for some people they are worth it to pay more, but that's does not make the mouse better than other.
