speaker and headphone setup?

ok so i decided to connect my headphones(with mic) to my keyboard Logitech g110 and i have my speakers connected to my pc and i was just wondering is there a way to set it up to where every time i disconnect the headphone jack from the keyboard just the headphone jack not the mic windows will figure out i did so and switch over the my speakers? it used to do that but that was when i had everything connected to my pc.

The jacks in the back of the motherboard and on the front connectors have a little switch that is how windows detects if something is plug or not. Since you have the keyboard pass-through plug to the jack, windows sees that something is plugged, and that is why is not switching from one to the other.

 

What I did was just enable both outputs to work at all times with my PC, so I usually use my headphones and when I need the speakers for any reason all I have to do is turn them on and the sound is there.

that's what i thought but was just making sure thanks BTW but now my question is how do i enable both at the same time?

I did this from the control panel of my sound drivers, I have a VIA HD sound chip in my motherboard, and the option to do this was in the configuration call " when plug in headphones, turn speakers off" I just disabled that option.
