Hi guys, so I recently OC my R7 1700 to 3.9GHz stable at 1.332V. I'm using an Aorus X470 mobo with 16gb Vengeance RGB at 3000MHz.

I've run both AIDA64 and Prime95 for over 45 minutes and temps didn't go pasta 60C using a Corsair H100i v2.

Should I dare to go past 4GHz and see I've won the silicon lottery? I'm not too big about OC so I'm not too confident in messing around too much.

Thanks to all who will respond.

i have my r3 2200 at 4ghz at 1.375 stable, 4.1 crashes after a couple hours under game load

a stable overclock is not stable until you put it under real test, not just some tools making cpu hot for a couple minutes but not really pushing all system

i am afraid of try with more voltage to keep 4.1 or go for 4.2, perhaps you have better luck

Well as I said, it wasn't just for a couple of minutes, but a solid 45 minutes. I don't play really demanding games, maybe AC: Odyssey which is very stressful on my Radeon RX580. So I guess I will just leave it at that, maybe try to OC the card a bit or just lower the settings as I can't notice any real difference in game...
