Thanks man, PC boots fine with 2700x, Have  further questions but this thread is already too long will open new thread

Hi, I Was going to update my system to 1500x to 2700x but ran into some problems, After installing CPU System is not booting & Cpu fan not running at all. Motherboard and Graphic Card has power. I tried to switch back to 1500x But nothing same things. I have checked Both cpu pins there are ok. I have to point out i was using cheap thermal paste(white one, it was really sticky) First time as my thermal paste Which I ordered was not arrived. I have tried Clear cmos via shorting jumper, Changing Cpu fan header to different header.

Config:

Motherboard: Asus Prime B350 plus

Processor: 1500x,2700x

Power Suplly: antec 500 watt

Ram: corsair venagence lpx 8GB X 2

Graphic card: asus 1070 strix

This and try this with the old CPU, then update BIOS, then try the new one again.

I have checked all connections already, Psu is plugged in and on, that why motherboard and graphic card has power. I haven't reseated the ram and have pulled out the battery to clear cmos,(have tried the jumper method but not luck) these are the things i do know may work.

Chill dude, to much bumping is also not the right way. But I get you. I am trying to help. But at this pint, and assuming you did the recommended steps correctly, we have to assume a defective part. Do you have other stuf to test with?

Hi, Bro i have one more question i got little bit thermal paste on  3 or 4 pins at the side. Can my cpu be dead because of this or it will keep my cpu from  working properly. Should I clean it with 99.9 % isopropyl alochol .

This could isolate the pin and possibly destroy the socket. clean it with some isopropyl and a (SOFT!!) toothbrush or something like that. be CAREFUL not to bend the pins.

How much Time should I give the cpu Before installing it so that Isopropyl alcohol is evaporated.
