Xeon Boost Clock

So i got E5-2689 0 from an old server, i replace the old motherboard ( already dead ) with a cheap Huananzhi X79 motherboard, it worked normally, except one thing : the minium clock in BIOS is 1.2GHz and the boost clock is 2.6GHz ( wtf base clock ? ) anyone have an idea about this problem ? Thanks

do you have any idea about flashing a new BIOS ? i tried some modded but it doesn't work

i got a POST code 19 after flashing modded BIOS, what does it mean?

@TechnoHT It means RAM problem. Try flashing the original BIOS again or running with 1 RAM stick

it doesn't boot up to BIOS, any method to flashing the backup BIOS i saved?

Here, the post code is 19 even i re-install RAM or no RAM

Try using the other RAM slot and taking the GPU out

Take any USB device out aswell

Try removing all SATA and m.2 devices aswell.

 

If you have recently got it from ebay amazon or aliexpress you will still be able to returrn it

Also, On the board toward the bottom are two buttons near the sata ports, a power button and a reset button.

tap one of those buttons, and the board might come to life.

Well, can you locate the button ? I don't see them

If your version does not have them then short the two reset pins
