Yeah someone at EVGA probably did not check the power draws. Be happy you did not attach them onto your GPU before asking on here. Those Powerlinks are IMPOSSIBLE to remove from your connectors after you attach it. I know because I have one on my 1070Ti. (but they do not affect OC at all, I get really good OC on air)

Hi,

 

I have purchased 2x PowerLink for my 2080 Tis in SLI.

I see that the PowerLink states maximum load of 300W.

2080 Ti overclocked takes about 330W+.

The promo page for PowerLink says it will keep the overclocked stable etc. I have doubts it will either destroy my cards / melt power connectors? I seen some forum posts with pictures where it happened.

I would say not worth the risk, especially when the benefit is purely aesthetic.
