I would not recommend getting a i3 (4 core, no hyperthreading) for gaming at all.

 

Many modern games already run poorly on a 4C CPU without hyperthreading.

This is a good build. I would suggest something like this. Vega 56 is great value compared to the 1660Ti. Ryzen 5 is the way to go if it fits in the budget.

 

The case is a bit MEH, probably bad airflow. I'd spend a few dollars more for something from a reputable brand. (NZXT, Coolermaster, Corsair, Fractal Design etc. ) Corsair Carbide are good entry level cases. So are Fractal Design Core series.

I need help with where to post this:I need a gaming pc under 650$ and I already have the Peripherals and an SSD and a Win10 key and I just can’t figure out what parts to buy

Yeah when i was thinking about what cpu should i get i Ended up with The ryzen 5
