Office Build Plan

Go to solution Solved by Caennanu,

Right, so i had to pull up the system requirements for autocad to jog my memory. It seems i was correct in assuming that it is more of an memory application than anything else.

It recommends 16GB and a GPU that has a bandwidth of 106GB/s, which is basically any video card with a 128-bit bus on memory (with GDDR5+) or higher. And comes down to a 1050TI or higher (to be save).

So .  . i'd recommend just about any budget build out there that has a dedicated GPU, IGP such as the ryzen 2200, 2400, 3200 and 3400 won't cut it. And simply add the memory.

So something like this should be sufficient.

From here its fairly easy to add bells and whistles ;)

Hello LTT forums! Me and my friend were having a discussion about what would be the ideal office workstation for engineers.  The purpose of the workstation is mainly for general office work purposes. Now the catch is, the workstation must be affordable. Can you give us any advice what would be the ideal build for high end and for the mid-range so that we could compare it.
