A couple years back i built a gaming rig. Not super amazing, and quite literally just before Ryzen appeared. Up until a few months back it started up just fine, no issues no slow downs. The last 2 days it did not want to load properly. Soon as finish my login details and press it would take FOREVER just to get to the desktop. Yesterday i completely tore it down and cleaned everything. Even went so far as to alcohol clean the RAM contacts on the sticks and in the slots, and repasted the CPU and GPU. Now it does get passed the logon and gets to the desktop and then takes awhile to fully load everything. So far my thoughts are the RAM. My current train of thought is to test swap the 4 sticks of RAM in the hopes of finding a bad stick. The system recognizes all 32GB with no issue. Next step is DiskCheck, then idk. Any hep would be appreciated.
