NVIDIA Control panel not saving custom resolutions

PC Setup:

AMD RYZEN 7 3700X

ASUS PRIME X570-PRO

MSI RTX2080 VENTUS 8G OC

IPSG 32GB 2X16 D4 3000 TRZ

WD 1TB NVME SSD

WD 2TB 3.5 HD

I am connected to my LG 65KS8000PUA  TV.

TV will support 120hz. When I go into nvidia control panel, the native HDTV resolutions only go to 60hz. PC resolutions will go up to 120hz but then I cannot edit any of the color settings. So I want to create a custom resolution of 1440p at 120hz. I can create the resolution and test it. But, beyond that, I cannot select it in the resolution selections. "Custom" doesn't even show up in the list. I got it to work just once, but in the process of monkey-ing with other settings, it got lost and now I cannot set the custom resolution again.

Any Ideas?
