Hi everyone,

this is my first post here.

I'd need some help selecting a new case for my very weird computer.

I have a Fujitsu mATX mainboard (that I want to keep until I upgrade my CPU some time in the next two years) and it needs a proprietary PSU, so I want a case that uses an extension cord to connect so I can attach a y splitter and cram the mainboard PSU in somewhere while the PSU for my GPU goes in the normal spot. I would be willing to cut a hole for the mainboard PSU if necessary, but I'd really rather not and instead go the extension plus y splitter route.

Also since the cable is very short a case that has the mainboard laying flat or upside down would be an advantage.

Currently I'm using a really old tower from Win95 times and have to remove the side panel so my Vega 56 doesn't suffocate.

As for drive bays I'd like two or three 2.5 with maybe one 3.5, a 5.25 would be nice but isn't necessary.
Also I'd like the case to be as small as possible, and preferably in white to go with my desk and my peripherals (I wanna grab the entire Razer Quartz suite next year).

Window panels aren't necessary, but would be nice for when I finally upgrade my CPU and have a more regular build.

Currently I'm considering either the Bitfenix Prodigy M or the Chieftec CI-01B-OP, but I would have to slightly cut up the Chieftec for my PSU so that's less favorable. Both don't really get me that excited so I was wondering if anyone here could suggest some alternatives to choose from.

You can buy a Q500L, and then do whatever you want to it, or just mount the PSU anywhere with some zip ties.

The cooling really isn't that bad, as long as you aren't sticking a radiator against those side panels.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
