Hey everyone 

i have a request please about my Rig i'm planning to upgrade some parts on it (atleast if you say its worth it )

my rig specs are i5-8600k non oc (i never oc ) msi z370 carbon pro . 32gb ram 8*4 3000mhz cl16 and a gtx 1080 aorus extreme edition and m.2 adata gamixx s11 pro

so wich one should i upgrade between Cpu or Gpu ?

i'm a normal desktop browser don't do video edit etc.. but i develop apps and android apps and in gaming i play in 1440p75hz

what do you think ?

You shouldnt upgrade anything. By all means what you currently have is pretty solid. Save the money for the gen after or keep it on the side just in case if something breaks and you need a replacement. If you still want an upgrade, I would go with CPU

does anything hold you back? if yes, upgrade that part; if no, don't bother

as long as you don't do stupid voltages, there's little that'll change

maybe i'll oc the graphic card but i have a golden rule i know its childish but i never no matter what oc the cpu

i mean... are you afraid of raising the voltage? then don't

 

i have that exact mobo and cpu, can oc it without raising voltage to 4.5-4.6ghz

 

and pascal has voltage locks, so you got nothing to worry there
