I have a I5 7600K a GTX 1070 TI and 16 gb of ram now my PC is starting to get slower should I buy the I7 7700 (K)? Or should I wait to buy a bigger upgrade unfortunately my chipset don't support 8th or 9th gen.

what cause it "slow down" what are you doing with it? temp/ hdd?

anyway no one should consider i7 , its used price is too high that you can get newer better cpu

if the cpu isn't keeping up, I'd rather invest in the am4 platform

How old is your system exactly?

First check if the slowdown isn't comming from a different component i.e. your storage device/s or PSU.
The i5-7600K should be a pretty decent CPU (even though I missed tech news and information for the entire 7xxx series) I know there was some controversy surrounding the 7700K.
Your GPU should deffinetly not be the problem on it's own, if it is not broken or something like that. So if it has no defects keep it.

If you're looking for an upgrade anyways, you could check the AM4 platform and what it has to offer right now.
