GPU for AMD A8-6600K

gumbopot

I'm looking to get a graphics card for an old system I picked up with an AMD A8-6600K. In a year or so I'll probably be looking to build a whole new system, just don't have the funds for it right now. So my plan is to get a decent GPU that I can use in my next build. Something like a RX 570.

Is there anything I should be concerned about if my system is bottle-necked by the CPU?

Any recommendations on GPU for under $200?

Current build:

Asus A78M-A

AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz APU Processor - Integrated AMD Radeon HD 8570D Graphics

8GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3-1600 RAM

Sentey 600w Power Supply

remember that bottleneck is just unused potential on the cpu or the gpu

of you get some bottleneck the pc will go just fine

i have here that cpu but paired with a gtx750ti, does well on most games on low to medium at 30+ fps, perhaps more, is so old now, i think i built it in 2013 or 2014

buy that gpu, enjoy the pc and then replace cpu, ram and motherboard, it is what i would do

I was planning on getting a 750ti actually!

But I have $200 I can spend on a GPU right now. That's about what I would be spending on the GPU for the new system, so I figure why even bother with the 750

if i could, i would go for a sapphire rx570

but there is a rumor about a new navi that should replace that gpu

is still a small rumor, but i heard it alot

perhaps if you find really cheap a rx570 it would be a good idea, even if that rumored navi comes and is better

something that i didnt mentioned is the psu, i dont know the brand sentey, so no idea how it will behave with the gpu
