PX BUILD

Hello to everyone that's reading! This is my first post here. I would like to build a gaming pc and I already have selected what I wanted, though I'm not sure if all compatible. I'd like some opinions on the matter, here are my specs :

Motherboard :Asus prime Z390-A(s1151, INTEL Z390, PCI-Ex16)
Processor :Intel core i5-9600k 3.7GHz/8G/s/9Mb, S 1151 Box.
Power Supply :Enermax revolution Xt II 650W 80 plus gold.
For cooling : NZXT Kraken x62 with AM4 support.
Ram: DDR4-3200 HyperX 16384Mb PC4 - 25600 (kit of 2x8192) predator RGB.
Computer case :AZZA Inferno 310(CSAZ-310)

As for storage and other things, depends on if these are compatible)).

Thank you for you time

I didn't spot anything out of the ordinary so I'll say you're good to go.

You are not interested in the AMD R5 3600?

I neglected to recommend that as well since it will involve more steps as the BIOS needs to be updated with a update kit from AMD. I felt that might be a bit much for a first (I assume, could be wrong though) build.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

The Asus Prime Z390-A is a pretty expensive motherboard, he/she can get a cheaper X570 board for that.

I more into Intel Cpus.. I don't know much about AMD processors.. I know the motherboard is quiet expensive compared to the others Ive seen. In any case, I just want to build something I won't regret and that'll last quiet a while before upgrading again))).. If what I chose so far is compatible then I'm all set to order the pieces!!! Thanks for the opinions though! Really appreciate it ☺️

The 9600k is not a good CPU for future-proofing, neither the Z390 platform.

Why do you think that? Is it because of the compatibility?
