Laptop for relative

TL;DR
Need low cost but MUST be durable laptop that can crop photos, have windows pre-installed & can use word.
Also can video chat. IE built in webcam.
MUST BE NEW. Newegg, Amazon, etc USA stores.
NO QUICK RELEASE BATTERIES. they suck & always stop making connections.

All of those are horrible. Get a business laptop if you want durability. Lenovo ThinPad, Dell Vostro/Latitude, HP ProBook/EliteBook.

My relative is buying it. They say up to 600 but I think 400 should be what we should aim for.

We decided the reliability was worth it. We are going to get a good thinkpad with a lot of storage:
