I was wondering if a 3200g slightly overclocked could handle VR ??? I will be using a graphics card of course, something like a 5700 with a decent aftermarket cooler.

I mean probably but not greatly, maybe you can find a Ryzen 5 1600 which is vastly superior for the same price

Well the system i am planning to build is going to be an apu system and then save up for a bit and get something good like a strix 5700 or 5700xt, then i will probably get a 3600x in the January sales, i was just wondering if it COULD handle vr for a short time ???

Ok that is what i thought, i just needed some reassurance, its only because my friend is desperate to play the big vr game like blade and sorcery, superhot, ect and really doesn't want until NEXT June to get his pc (His b-day) because the one he has right now only has a 3400g in it, which is fine for school work and light AAA games such as rocket league and other light games.

Got it on a really good 6 hour flash sale for £45 and at the time i only had a £100 to spend and literally everything else was gone !!!

Why not turn around and sell it for 65 to 70 then (assuming it is still new). I would really aim for a 2600 based system
