ok so i recently bought a powered desk grommet but now im on a frenzy as i love the one i bought but it has no pass through for wires. im looking for a wire pass through that is screwed from the bottom. with a clean look and plenty of room for wires

Are you comfortable with power tools at all? Depending on the material of the desk and what tools you have available, you could just go ahead and install some hubs yourself.

What so you mean by hubs? im assuming you mean something like a usb hub or something. but i need a pass through for d-port, monitor power, usb for mouse (corsair dark core se) and keyboard (das keyboard 4 pro) as well a pass through for a usb that is for my phone charger which has fast charging and i dont know any hub which would support all of that.

If you have a thunderbolt port on you're computer you could take care of almost all of those with a thunderbolt hub. As for the power for the monitor, you might just have to install single power outlet into the top of it like this. Worst comes to worst and the hub doesn't charge you're phone fast enough, you could use the ports on the power outlet.

that is what i am avoiding. thunderbolt i do not have. and not even the new mobo that i am buying it i dont think has it either. the whole point is to avoid having wires on my desk. so they go away nice and neat like. and a desk grommet would do that i just wanna find one that screws in and is big enough to contain all the wires. i already have a powered grommet with plugs but i like using those for other things. and i also want fast charge.

Well as far as know, I don't believe that is possible. You would have to do some self fabrication and rig hubs of the sort to be recessed into the desk. I don't think there's anything that would provide all of these features in one package.

with a base screw like this

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07GR7721G/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think i get what you're looking for now, my apologies! You're looking for just an empty grommet like the on you linked, but just larger?

Is having a cover over the all ultra important or could you get away with a metal sleeve around the hole?

if it was something like this but had a screw on base from underneath that would be great

Would something like this work? It is metal so you could cut the whole to be smaller than the actual grommet and then hammer it through the wood or slowly sand your way to make a tight fit?

I'm sure those'll work just fine as long as the dimensions line up right. Lemme know how it all turns out!
